Where was Yellowjackets filmed? Guide to all the Locations

What happens when the story of the survival drama, Lord of the Flies, meets the iconic science fiction series, Lost?

Now back for season two, Showtime’s supernatural series Yellowjackets was primarily filmed in and around Vancouver, but also in California.

Yellowjackets cast

The story revolves around a high school girls' soccer team whose plane crashes in a mysterious location in the Canadian mountains, where they’re stranded for 19 months.

The series unfolds in two timelines, following the girls both as teenagers in 1996 and as adults some twenty-five years later, as they try to cope with the traumatic events that occurred during their time in the wilderness.

Yellowjackets Locations

Yellowjackets location
According to location manager Jimmie Lee, the mountain scenes in the Pilot episode were filmed at the top of Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, California.

They had to bring 120 people and all their equipment up the mountain to shoot all the snow scenes.

Yellowjackets house
The house of the captain of the Yellowjackets soccer team, Jackie (played by Ella Purnell) is located at 3535 Locksley Drive in Pasadena.

Built in 1951, this magnificent 6200 square foot, six bedroom mansion is the same property used as Maryann's Mansion in the vampire series True Blood.

La Villa Contenta
In the present, Natalie (played by Juliette Lewis) is in a rehab center filmed at a property called La Villa Contenta at 26880 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

This $54 million luxury home is the same location that served as the Delos mansion in HBO's show Westworld.

Wiskayok High School
Entertainment Weekly reported that the scenes at the fictional Wiskayok High School in New Jersey were recorded at John Marshall High School in the Los Feliz district of the city of Los Angeles.

Here is also located the field where Taissa (plated by Jasmin Savoy Brown) injures Allie (Pearl Amanda Dickson).

Plane crash site
After filming the pilot in November 2019, the production was delayed to 2021 due to the pandemic outbreak and moved from California to Canada.

Yellowjackets cabin
As Hollywood North Buzz revealed, in season one, the creepy abandoned cabin in the forest was also filmed on the grounds of Panther Paintball.

However, in season two, the cabin was a set built at Bridge Studios in Burnaby.

Stave Lake Mission
The lake that appears for the first time in episode three, "The Dollhouse", was filmed at Stave Lake.

This location is situated on the northern edge of the District of Mission, about 40 miles (65 km) east of Vancouver.

2400 Motel
Nat lives at the 2400 Motel located at 2400 Kingsway in Vancouver.

Built in 1946, you can book a room in this cool vintage motor hotel for about US$100 per night.

Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel
The hotel where adult Shauna (Melanie Lynskey) follows her husband, Jeff (Warren Kole) is the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel.

Shauna ends up having a drink with artist Adam Martin (Peter Gadiot) in the MIXT Lobby Lounge of the same hotel.

Brix and Mortar
In the fourth episode, "Bear Down", adult Misty (played by Christina Ricci) stalks Nat and Kevyn (Alex Wyndham) at the Brix and Mortar restaurant in Downtown Vancouver.

This elegant dining house is located in a 1912 heritage brick building with a patio.

Warehouse Studio Vancouver
Taissa's home exterior in the fifth episode, "Blood Hive", is the Warehouse Studio at 100 Powell Street in Gastown, Vancouver.

This location was also featured in Travelers, Charmed, and the Amazon series Upload.

Flight of the Bumblebee
In the eighth episode, "Flight of the Bumblebee", Nat meets a former coworker at Finch's, a tea house located at 353 West Pender Street in Central Vancouver.

Yellowjackets Season 2 Locations

Camp Green Pine
In the first episode of the second season, "Friends, Romans, Countrymen", Lottie (Simone Kessell) runs a cult at the fictional Camp Green Pine.

These scenes were filmed at Camp Howdy, a picturesque natural setting located on the shores of the Indian arm in Belcarra, 40 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

The cannibalistic feast scene in the second episode was also filmed on the grounds of this camp.

This is one of the locations in season five where Virgin River is filmed.

Parkside Elementary School
Taissa and Simon's son, Sammy, attends Parkside Elementary School.

This is the General Wolfe Elementary at 4251 Ontario Street in Vancouver's Riley Park neighborhood.

Potter’s Island Marina
In the third episode, "Digestif", Walter (played by Elijah Wood) has a boat at the fictional Potter’s Island Marina.

The scene where they are trying to get a bootlegger at the liquor store was filmed at The Artful Dodger in Fernridge, Langley.

The yellow gate to the cult compound in season two is a hydro access road just off the road to Sasamat Lake.
