The Suicide Squad movie spinoff is the first television series set in the DC Extended Universe.

The show dives deeper into the character embodied by professional wrestler and actor John Cena, Christopher “Peacemaker” Smith.

Although the series is set in the fictional Evergreen town in Charlton County (Washington State), Peacemaker was entirely filmed in and around Vancouver.

Where is Peacemaker filmed

As the 2021 Suicide Squad movie, this project was written and directed by James Gunn, the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie series.

Welcome to Evergreen and our spoiler-free guide to the filming locations of Peacemaker. Stay tuned for updates on this page!

Evergreen Charlton County
The Accent Inns in Burnaby served as the Overview Lofts Suites where the members of the Project Butterfly commando are hosted.

In the comics, Evergreen City was Green Lantern's town and Charlton County is an homage to Charlton Comics, which originally developed the character of Peacemaker before incorporating him into the universe of DC Comics.

Henenlotter Video
The A.R.G.U.S. squad led by Clemson Murn (played by Chukwudi Iwuji) recruits Peacemaker to join the Project Butterfly mission.

The team headquarters is an old video store called Henenlotter Video.

The local press reported that the series was filming these scenes in a shop at 5657 176 Street in Surrey.

You can still see the store sign in the March 2021 Google Maps street view.

Peacemaker location
The Henenlotter Video, filmed in a vacant building that was formerly Dann’s Electronics and Bowerbird Stop Antiques, is the same filming location of the Cerberus Books in the Netflix series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

The name of the video store pays tribute to Frank Henenlotter, the film director of many horror-comedies that became cult films, including 1982' Basket Case, 1988' Brain Damage, and 1990' Frankenhooker.

Fennel Fields restaurant
Ricky's Country Restaurant in Burnaby doubles as the Fennel Fields Italian restaurant where Adrian Chase (played by Freddie Stroma) works as a waiter.

The restaurant is located in the same complex as the Accent Inns hotel, just across the street from Bridge Studios. This is not confirmed, but it makes sense that the studio work for the show was recorded there.

Peacemaker restaurant
The pub where Peacemaker follows Emilia (played by Jennifer Holland), the O'Rourke's Sports Bar, is actually The Henry at 5708 176 Street in Surrey.

Peacemaker pink building
In the second episode, "Best Friends, For Never", glam metal lover Annie Sturphausen takes Peacemaker to her apartment.

This sequence was filmed at South Surrey’s Pacific Inn Resort, also known as the Pink Palace, at 1160 King George Boulevard.

The hotel closed in 2018 but remains open to production companies. After The Stand series based on a novel by Stephen King was shot here, the property also hosts paranormal tours. Some episodes of season 4 of Riverdale were also filmed here.

Situated just north of the U.S.-Canada border, this large property with a swimming pool, 420 parking stalls, 150 hotel rooms, and an airplane hanger-sized atrium.
