This is Marvel’s superhero franchise the mother of all crossovers. The Avengers ensemble join forces with Guardians of the Galaxy to battle Thanos, the intergalactic bad guy who comes to Earth to complete his collection of Infinity Stones.

The third and fourth Avengers movies in the series features an all-star cast including (are you ready?) Josh Brolin (Thanos), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Benicio del Toro (The Collector), Vin Diesel (Groot) and many many more, including a cameo of Peter Dinklage.

Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame were filmed in Atlanta and in the United Kingdom. Both films were shot simultaneously for financial and logistical reasons, to accommodate the availability of the actors. Studio work was done at Pinewood Atlanta Studios and Wardpark Studios in Cumbernauld near Glasgow.

Behind the scenes
Producers requested African actors for the battle scene filmed at Bouckaert Farms in Fairburn (Georgia). This is the same field used in Black Panther, both films were shot at the same time. These sequences were completed in post-production adding an African landscape and the city of Wakanda to the background.
