Posted by Ra Moon
Welcome to Marvel’s superhero franchise the mother of all crossovers. The Avengers join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to battle Thanos, the intergalactic bad guy who comes to Earth to complete his collection of Infinity Stones.
Avengers: Infinity War was primarily filmed in Atlanta and the United Kingdom. Along with Endgame, both films were shot simultaneously for financial and logistical reasons, and also to accommodate the availability of the actors.

The Studio work was done at Pinewood Atlanta Studios and Wardpark Studios in Cumbernauld near Glasgow.
Apart from Endgame, the timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe continued with Disney+ hit series WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Loki.

In Scotland, action scenes including explosions were shot at Edinburgh’s Royal Mile and St Giles' Cathedral.
The roof of the cathedral was built inside the old Pelamis wave power building (now First Stage Studios run by Jason Connery - yes that Connery) for the rooftop close up stunt scenes, involving Vision and Wanda.

Producers requested African actors for the battle scene filmed at Bouckaert Farms in Fairburn (Chattahoochee Hill country, Georgia). This is the same field used in Black Panther, both films were shot at the same time.
These sequences were completed in post-production adding an African landscape and the city of Wakanda to the background.

Also, the forest and the waterfall seen during the battle of Infinity War were filmed in Georgia.
The Retrozap website reported that this section of the film was shot at the Hurricane Falls in Tallulah Gorge State Park.

Establishing shots and scenes with Spider-Man were shot in Queens (New York), at 8-08 Queens Plaza next to Queensboro Bridge.

There is a short scene made using footage from Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in Brazil (Thanos arriving in Vormir).
The terraced field that appears in the aftermath of Infinity War was shot in the Banaue Rice Terraces (Ifugao) in the Philippines.
