Where was Infinity War filmed? Guide to all the Filming Locations

The mother of all the superhero crossovers, Avengers: Infinity War, was filmed primarily in Atlanta and the United Kingdom.

Along with Endgame, both films were shot simultaneously for financial and logistical reasons, as well as to accommodate the availability of the actors.

Where was Infinity War filmed

In the story, the Avengers join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to battle Thanos, the intergalactic villain who comes to Earth to complete his collection of Infinity Stones.

In addition to Endgame, the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline continued with Disney+ hit series WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Loki.

The Avengers: Infinity War Locations

Infinity War Location
The first scene not filmed in the studios is the one taking place in Central Park, New York.

However, the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir and the Twin Towers of the Eldorado Building were CGI'd in the background of the scene.

Piedmont Park in Atlanta
This sequence was actually filmed near the Peace Monument in Piedmont Park in Atlanta.

Trilith Studios
The scene on the street outside the Sanctum Santorum was a large set built at Trilith Studios, originally known as Pinewood Atlanta Studios.

Queensboro Bridge Spiderman
The scene with Spiderman on the Queensboro Bridge was shot in the studios with blue screens.

Tony Stark and Avengers filming in Atlanta
Part of this long battle sequence was also filmed in downtown Atlanta.

Another scene set in New York's Washington Square Park, recognizable by the iconic marble arch added via CGI, was actually filmed in Woodruff Park, also in Atlanta.

As reported by MCU Location Scout, a scene was filmed using footage shot on University Place in New York without the actors.

The VFX team used the Staatsburgh State Historic Site on the Hudson River in upstate New York as a canvas for the new Avengers Headquarters complex.

The main building is inspired by the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta, which was featured in Captain America: Civil War.

Avengers in Scotland
The kebab place in Scotland is actually a coffee shop called The Milkman at 52 Cockburn Street in Edinburgh.

The action scene with Vision and Wanda was filmed in the area of Edinburgh's Royal Mile and St. Giles' Cathedral.

The roof of the cathedral was built inside the old Pelamis wave power building (now First Stage Studios) for the rooftop close-up stunt scenes.

Infinity War drehorte
The fight continues inside the Waverley railway station.

Originally opened in 1846 and rebuilt between 1892 and 1902, it serves as Edinburgh's main railroad station.

Planet Vormir
The shape of Planet Vormir's surface was created using imagery from the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in northeastern Brazil.

This mesmerizing landscape of vast white sand dunes dotted with vibrant blue and green lagoons is the result of the region's unique climate, characterized by heavy rainfall followed by a dry season.

Infinity War battle scene
The epic battle scene was filmed at Bouckaert Farms in Fairburn (Chattahoochee Hill Country, Georgia).

This is the same field used in Black Panther, as both films were shot at the same time.

These sequences were completed in post-production by adding an African landscape and the city of Wakanda to the background.

Infinity War waterfall
The forest and waterfall seen in the Infinity War battle was filmed at the Hurricane Falls in Tallulah Gorge State Park.

Located in northeastern Georgia, this landmark is known for its stunning canyon, carved by the Tallulah River over millions of years.

Thanos planet
The terraced field that appears in the aftermath of Infinity War was shot in the Banaue Rice Terraces in the Philippines.

Carved into the Ifugao mountains over 2,000 years ago by the indigenous people, these terraces are a stunning example of sustainable agriculture.
