The latest in Marvel’s superhero franchise is also the mother of all crossovers. The superhero ensemble join forces with Guardians of the Galaxy to battle Thanos, the intergalactic bad guy who comes to Earth to complete his collection of Infinity Stones.

The third Avengers movie in the series features an all-star cast including (are you ready?) Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Benicio del Toro (The Collector), Vin Diesel (Groot) and many more, including a cameo of Peter Dinklage.

Avengers: Infinity War was filmed in Atlanta and in the United Kingdom. Studio work was done at Pinewood Atlanta Studios and Wardpark Studios in Cumbernauld near Glasgow. Here are the spoiler-free filming locations for Infinity War:

In Scotland, action scenes including explosions were shot at Edinburgh’s Royal Mile next to St Giles' Cathedral.

A huge green screen was set inside Waverley railway station, where several avengers engage in a fight. Some more filming took place at Cockburn Street, near the City Chambers building.

Avengers Infinity War filming
Producers requested African actors for the battle scene filmed at Bouckaert Farms in Fairburn (Georgia). This are the same fields used in Black Panther, both films were shot at the same time. These sequences were completed in post-production adding an African landscape and the city of Wakanda to the background.
