Many street scenes set in Hudson Springs, New York State were filmed in Port Perry, located on the shore of Lake Scugog in the Durham Region, about 50 miles (80 km) northeast of Toronto.
Founded in the mid-19th century, Port Perry is known for its well-preserved Victorian downtown and heritage buildings, making it a popular destination for tourism and filming thanks to its classic small-town look.

In the pilot episode, Angelo is seen running along Queen Street, home to the historic post office, the building with the clock tower featured in the establishing shots.
Port Perry has been featured in several Ontario-filmed productions, including American Gods and Reacher.
