The Capitol Theatre, of the same name located in Port Hope, also appeared in the movies.
Both the exterior and the hall were filmed in this beautifully restored 1930s atmospheric theatre, which features an Art Deco façade.

However, the interior was filmed at the Westdale Theatre in Hamilton, another historic Art Deco cinema opened in 1935. This location can be rented for filming and events.
The movie shown at the cinema is Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?, a 1962 horror-drama starring Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, filmed in Los Angeles.

The scene where the boy, Matty Clements, is hitchhiking at night was filmed on Lakeshore Road, just outside Port Hope.
This section features the Canadian Northern Railway and the Grand Trunk Railway running almost parallel to each other.

Port Hope’s central Walton Street, in the area of the bridge over the river, appears in the scene with Matty in the family car as well as in the establishing shots of Derry.
Located roughly a 1 hour 15–20 minute drive east of Toronto, Port Hope is a picturesque town on the north shore of Lake Ontario, known for its well-preserved 19th-century architecture.

As in It: Part One, the boys’ secret hangout was filmed in the studio, with the exterior shots created via CGI.
This water tower is inspired by the real-life Thomas Hill Standpipe in Bangor, Maine, located just a few blocks from Stephen King's house.
Built in 1897, the structure still holds millions of gallons of water today to supply the city and maintain pressure in the municipal system.

The Canadian Forces Base Borden served as the Derry Air Force Base for the scenes featuring Major Leroy Hanlon and Captain Pauly Russo.
Established in 1916 as a flying school during World War I, it is now Canada’s largest military training base.

Do you happen to know where the Uris residence is, and where the Hanlons live, starting from the second episode?
The number 35 can be seen, and it does not appear to be in Port Hope.
