Set in the fictional town of Ironwood, Pennsylvania, Motorheads was actually filmed in Ontario, Canada.

The series is something of an Outer Banks with cars instead of boats, swapping sun-soaked treasure hunts for gritty street races and high school drama in a rust-belt town.

Ironwood Motorheads
In the series, Ironwood is set in Allegheny County, a real county in Pennsylvania.

Paris, a small village in southwestern Ontario often called “the prettiest town in Canada,” served as the main filming location for Ironwood.

Ironwood PA
Ironwood’s picturesque main street is actually Grand River Street in Paris.

Located near Brantford, where the Grand and Nith Rivers meet, Paris is known for its scenic beauty and historic architecture.

Wade's Diner Motorheads
Situated next to Bowers Hardware, Wade’s Diner was a set built inside a vacant old hardware store at 32 Grand River Street—also in Paris.

Like Motorheads, many major shows have their own iconic hangout spots: Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe in Riverdale, Gracie's Dance Hall in Ransom Canyon, Jack's Bar in Virgin River, and The Patch Cafe in Landman.

Blackfriars Street Bridge
From Paris, we head to London, but we’re still in Ontario.

London’s Blackfriars Street Bridge, which spans the North Thames River, stood in for Ironwood’s bridge.

Grand Trunk Railway bridge Paris
A couple of shots were filmed under the Grand Trunk Railway bridge on Willow Street in Paris.

Curtis’s favourite spot, overlooking Ironwood, is Penman’s Dam Park, located right next to there.

Motorheads locations

Logan Service Center
Logan Maddox’s Service Center is likely the property on Concession 11 East, a rural area near Carlisle, which Flamborough Today reported as a filming location.

The "UNB10" yellow Dodge Charger in Motorheads appears to be a late-1960s model, known for its aggressive styling, hidden headlights, and muscle car performance.

Motorheads house
Alicia’s family home, where the party in the pilot episode takes place, is a striking modernist 6,600-square-foot house in Caledon.

Besides the private small lake, highlights include the latest home automation technology, an infinity pool, a theatre, and a wine cellar.

Ironwood High School
Ironwood High School is the former Scarlett Heights Entrepreneurial Academy at 15 Trehorne Drive in Etobicoke, Toronto.

The unused track and field at the school is the one that gets trashed in the eighth episode, "Wiring."

Bertie's Burgers
Bertie’s Burgers in the fourth episode, “Disassemble,” was filmed at the Johnny Be Good Diner in Brantford.

Named after the iconic Chuck Berry song, this retro-style eatery is inspired by 1950s Americana.

White Knuckle Run
The White Knuckle Run in the sixth episode, “Reassemble,” was filmed at the off-road Motopark Training Facility near Chatsworth

Seven Springs Speedway
The Seven Springs Speedway is actually the Flamboro Speedway, a 1/3-mile paved oval track located in Millgrove.

Established in 1961, this family-owned private circuit has been a cornerstone of grassroots stock car racing in Canada, hosting weekly Saturday night races from May through October across several racing divisions.

The bank in the robbery scene from 17 years ago, featured in the ninth episode, “Ignition,” is actually the County of Brant Public Library’s Paris Branch.
