The Sinner Town of Dorchester in New York: Where was The Sinner filmed?

The small New York town of Dorchester is the fictional location where The Sinner series is set. Season 3 focuses on Harry investigating a private school teacher. After a fatal car accident, evidence arises that this teacher may be involved in a strange and disturbing case.
Bill Pullman (Lost Highway, Independence Day) stars as Harry Ambrose, Matt Bomer (Doom Patrol, American Horror Story) plays the troubled teacher Jamie Burns, and Jessica Hecht is Sonya Barzel (Breaking Bad, Friends), an artist who owns a house near where the car crashed happened.
In season 2 the action was partially set in the also made-up village of Keller; In season 3 Dorchester is located by the Hudson River in Somerset County. The Sinner was filmed in and around New York, but the town portrayed in the series is an amalgam of various filming locations in NY State:

The Dorchester Police Department exteriors are the Mt. Pleasant Justice Court building in Valhalla, a hamlet in NY state which is named after the mythical Viking paradise.

The stunning cliffs are the scenic Hudson River Palisades along the west side of the lower Hudson River. This up to 540 feet (160 meters) geologic wonder is located between New Jersey and New York states.

The Dorchester train station is actually the beautiful Hartsdale station in Greenburgh, Westchester County.

The flower and plants shop from the second episode is the Carlson Florist in White Plains, featuring several gorgeous glass houses.

The Berti Hotel and the Sabbiato restaurant with the undulating ceiling are the STK Midtown Steakhouse in Manhattan. This modern eatery was also featured in a couple of episodes in The Politician.

Leela Burns shop (Jamie's wife played by Parisa Fitz-Henley), is the Found Herbal Apothecary Herb shop at 10 Main St in Hastings-On-Hudson.

In the second episode of season 3, Harry meets Sonya in Hastings Center Diner at 540 Warburton Ave, also in Hastings.

Jamie's old university is The City College of New York, an educational neo-Gothic complex in West Harlem founded in 1847. The tower of the Goethals Hall is featured in a couple of scenes in The Sinner.
