Where is Daybreak filmed? Filming Locations of the apocalyptic Netflix series

After a nuclear bioweapon blast, the world has become the post-apocalyptic playground for a bunch of high school teens.

Daybreak follows a misfit kid Josh, who is looking for his missing girlfriend in California taken by zombies, Mad Max-style gangs, and warrior cheerleaders.

The series is based on a comic by Brian Ralph and is set in Glendale, although Daybreak was filmed in Albuquerque.

Where is Daybreak filmed
The Albuquerque Rail Yards is the perfect place to host a Walking Dead-style scene.

The historic complex, built between 1915 and 1925, was also used to film several productions like The Avengers or Terminator Salvation.

Daybreak mall location
Any Netflix bingeable high-school comedy has its own mall. The Glendale Palace was set in a section of the Cottonwood Mall.

Paradise cove
IMDb reported that Paradise cove was shot at 909 apartments in downtown Albuquerque.

Daybreak drehort
The scene pictured was filmed at the real Victor's Regent Pharmacy in the Cherry Acres neighborhood.

The company recently bought the former Albuquerque Studios, now called NetFlix Studios North America, where a lot of interior scenes were filmed.

  1. I live in Albuquerque and always notice when stuff is filmed here. I lived in 909 apartments and instantly recognized the mall. If you ever need any other pictures or anything I'd be glad to help.

  3. Highland HS, and also Albuquerque Country Club is where the cheermazons set up and where Triumph exploded the nuke. I was a background extra.
