The series is based on a comic by Brian Ralph and is set in Glendale, although Daybreak was filmed in Albuquerque.

Here is our spoiler-free guide to the filming locations of the show.

The Albuquerque Rail Yards is the perfect place to host a Walking Dead-style scene.

The historic complex, built between 1915 and 1925, was also used to film several productions like The Avengers or Terminator Salvation.

  1. I live in Albuquerque and always notice when stuff is filmed here. I lived in 909 apartments and instantly recognized the mall. If you ever need any other pictures or anything I'd be glad to help.

    1. That's pretty cool you live where "Josh" lived!

  2. I saw a discgolf basket in one of the scenes, I'd like to find out which course that is.

    1. I think that's Roosevelt Park by milne stadium.

  3. Highland HS, and also Albuquerque Country Club is where the cheermazons set up and where Triumph exploded the nuke. I was a background extra.
