The real city where Euphoria is set: Where is Euphoria filmed? Filming locations Guide

Posted by

Euphoria is a coming-of-an-age drama about high school students navigating their way into adulthood, struggling with drugs, sex, and almost everything else that happens during this age.

The show explores teenage life without pretending to give a moral message or to tell people what the right thing to do is.

Euphoria is not set in any specific city, but it was filmed in and around Los Angeles in California.

Euphoria filming locations

Most of the studio work was done at Sony Pictures Studios, at Washington Boulevard in Culver City, where it was filmed the shocking scene of the rotating room from episode one.

The HBO series stars Zendaya as drug addict Rue (Spider-Man's love interest in Far From Home and Homecoming films, although she's also known for her roles in The OA and K.C. Undercover). Hunter Schafer plays Jules, a real transgender actress, model and artist.

Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Sydney Sweeney, Angus Cloud, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow complete the main cast.

Welcome to our spoiler-free guide to the filming locations of Euphoria:

Mall shooting location
The shopping mall was shot in Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance.

I'm wondering if Euphoria's characters could ask for advice from their fellow high school students in Moordale Secondary (Sex Education).

Panns Restaurant scene
In episode four, Rue meets Ali at Pann's Restaurant in LA's La Tijera Boulevard.

This classic coffee shop, looking like straight out of a '50s movie, features one of the best-preserved examples of Googie architecture left in the city.

Euphoria diner
The diner of the special episode, "Trouble Don't Last Always", is Frank’s Restaurant and Coffee Shop at 916 W. Olive Avenue in Burbank.

Now permanently closed, this classic spot was also featured in Mad Men, CSI, Justified, and Gone Girl.
