The grace period is over. The revel excommunicado has a global bounty placed on his head, after breaking the rules conducting business on Continental grounds. From now on, John has to face the High Table's resolutions, as he becomes a $14 million target for any hired killer in the world.

John Wick Chapter 3 - Parabellum picks up shortly after where the second part ended, with John on the run. Although this third installment could have been the last one, at least a fourth sequel and two new spin-offs are in the pipeline: the film Ballerina and the TV series The Continental.

Keanu Reeves leads the returning cast along with Ian McShane (Winston), Laurence Fishburne (the Bowery King) and Lance Reddick (the concierge). Director Chad Stahelski is expanding the world of assassins and gold coins with some famous new faces. John's reluctant ally Sofia is played by Halle Berry and Anjelica Huston plays the Director of the Ruska Roma society. Asia Kate Dillon is the Adjudicator, Mark Dacascos is hitman Zero, Jerome Flynn embodies the Master of Coin and French actor Saïd Taghmaoui (of Berber ancestry from Essaouira) plays the Elder.

John Wick 3 was filmed in New York City and Morocco. Most of the movie was shot at night and raining, with the exception of the desert scenes. Also don't miss out our complete filming locations guide about where John Wick 2 was shot.

The Continental Hotel Location

The Continental Hotel
The Continental Hotel essentially became another character in the film. Once more, the exteriors were filmed in the Beaver Building in New York, which hosts a Haru Sushi restaurant. There are a few shots of the entrance hall in the Cunard Building, also in Manhattan.

Hotel Hall
The Hotel continues to expand in every installment with new rooms and areas. The lounge and the bar of the hotel in John Wick 3 is The Williamsburgh Savings Bank. This impressive neoclassical building was designed like a temple to finance and it has been transformed into an event space (it houses the Brooklyn Flea Market).

John Wick Hotel set
According to American Cinematographer, the manager’s office two-story glass-and-steel structure on the top floors of the hotel was constructed at Gold Coast Studios in Long Island. Also the Continental’s terrace at the end of the movie was built in the studio, as the Rockefeller Center rooftop used in Chapter 2 was not convenient for the filmmakers to control the lighting. Moscow dance theater sequence
The Tarkovsky Theater, home of the Russian ballet and the assassin academy, is the United Palace of Cultural Arts (the former Loew's 175th Street Theater). Located at 4140 Broadway in Washington Heights (Manhattan), the venue opened in 1930 as a deluxe movie theatre, until it was purchased in 1969 by an evangelistic church association. The producers used the exterior, the lobby and the auditorium, but some backstage rooms were actually shot in an empty estate house in Yonkers. The Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge (the double-decked suspension viaduct connecting Staten Island and Brooklyn), was shot down to film the spectacular motorcycle chase sequence. However, the entrance pictured above was filmed in the triumphal arch and colonnade of the Manhattan Bridge.

Filming Locations in Morocco

John Wick 3 drehort
A key section of the movie featuring Sofia, a manager of her own hotel, takes place in Morocco. Some establishing shots were recorded in the port and the citadel of Essaouira, doubling as Casablanca. John walks through the archway streets and maze-like passages of the medina in the old town.

Look at the price of this bloody variant of a Funko vinyl figure. There is an incredibly detailed and beautifully packaged re-edited Blue Ray edition. Also you can get your hands on one of these cool movie posters.
