Pioneer Rodeo in Henrietta, TX, check it out. Going for over 100 years. Should film there. It's always the 2nd weekend of September.

Beth had quite a ride from the Brazos River Bridge to Rio Paloma (70 miles from Mexico in South Texas) in episode 3. Great show, but makes more sense for Beth to trade in Houston, Austin, or San Antonio, all places with their own wealth! Love the show!

Our home is in Freestone County, TX, on land that once belonged to my great-grandfather. We used to own a hunting ranch southwest of Wichita Falls, so I am having fun guessing where Dutton Ranch was filmed. It sure looks familiar.

You need better Texas advisors for this series. I want to like it, but as a 5th-generation Texan, it has too many plot holes due to a lack of knowledge about Texas. Beth drives from their ranch near the Mexican border to Dallas in one day, stays into the evening, and drives back to the ranch the same night. Texas is too big for that. That's a hard 2-day drive, putting the pedal to the metal. I like the accuracy of Texans being Anglo and Latin, with their culture interwoven.
