Stillcrest College, with the motto "Scientia in Lumine" (Latin for "Knowledge in Light"), was filmed at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus Valley.

The campus features the iconic mid-1960s Brutalist-style Andrews Building (1966), a pioneering example of Brutalist architecture, with its innovative, award-winning layout set amid suburban parkland along Highland Creek.

The campus has a peculiar, dark and stark, Imperial Star Destroyer–esque look that has served to recreate a detention center in the dystopian series The Handmaid's Tale, a gloomy FBI office in The Madness, a sinister research facility in Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water, and an unsettling institute in Stereo, the 1969 film by David Cronenberg.

The college president's house is the Jeremiah Dinwoody House, a historic, heritage-status six-bedroom residence in Toronto's Casa Loma area.

The college's White House preserves the property's original 1913 layout, and its location in a high-end enclave supports premium pricing, evidenced by a 2004 sale for nearly two million USD.

The cabin by the pond near the trattoria in the seventh episode, "Everything That Rises Must Converge", is located on a country property called Windsong Mews in Terra Cotta, a village in the town of Caledon within Ontario's Peel Region.
