The Ludlow College in Rooster

The Ludlow College was filmed at the University of the Pacific’s Stockton Campus, located about a two-hour drive east of San Francisco.
The huge 175-acre campus blends Spanish Colonial Revival with Mission-style architecture, inspired by California's early 20th-century designs.
In the picture, the spectacular 178-ft Burns Tower, a spired campanile with stained glass completed in 1964, named in honour of a former university president, not the The Simpsons character.

The Cabot Hall exterior is Knoles Hall, the historic administration building.
California's oldest chartered university, founded in 1851 as California Wesleyan College, was relocated from the Bay Area to Stockton in 1924.

However, the lecture hall interior was filmed at the Choi Auditorium at Occidental College, on the main campus in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles.
The auditorium is part of the renovated 1914 Johnson Hall and hosts the McKinnon Center for Global Affairs.

The Faye Spanos Concert Hall is one of the campus's oldest landmarks.
Built in 1924–1925 in the English Tudor Gothic style, it houses the Conservatory of Music’s offices, studios, and practice rooms.

Ludlow College's president, Walter Mann (played by John C. McGinley), lives in a Colonial Revival house in South Pasadena.
Designed by renowned architect Garrett Beekman Van Pelt Jr., the estate includes a pool pavilion where you can cool down after the sauna.
Some scenes were also filmed at Warner Bros. Burbank Studios.
