Does age matter when it comes to love? And good locations? Age of Attraction was filmed in Whistler and Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada.

The Netflix dating experiment is hosted by Nick Viall and Natalie Joy, who have an 18-year age gap.
In the show, 40 singles form connections at a resort without knowing each other’s ages, testing whether love is truly ageless.

The Age of Attraction location

During the singles introduction, there is an establishing shot of a hydroplane flying near the iconic Point Atkinson Lighthouse, located in Lighthouse Park, West Vancouver.

Harbour Air operates seaplane flights from Vancouver's Coal Harbour to the base on Green Lake in Whistler, taking about 45 minutes to cover 61 miles (98 km).
Direct scheduled service runs multiple times daily in season. Tickets start at CA$93–$219 (US$68–$161) for adults, and round-trip fares begin at CA$148–$390 (US$109–$286).

The Age of Attraction lodge

Surrounded by nature, the lodge is the Brew Creek Centre, a private retreat and event venue located about a 25-minute drive south of Whistler.
This boutique accommodation features 24 rooms, 3,000 sq ft of meeting space for small gatherings, gardens, and on-site catering on 20 private acres.

The Promise Room is the Meditation Hut at Brew Creek Centre, a Japanese-inspired refuge with natural light, cedar joinery, wrap-around windows, and a central circular focal point.
The zigzag wooden bridge over the creek was designed to slow visitors’ pace.

The rafting scene was filmed with the Wedge Rafting crew, which runs trips on several rivers near Whistler, with the most common one used for their shorter rafting trips being the Green River.

Superfly Ziplines in the second episode is located at Cougar Mountain Basecamp, about 10 minutes north of Whistler Village.
The company offers tandem ziplines up to 1.6 km (about one mile) long and over 200 m high, between Cougar and Rainbow Mountains.

The park with the suspension bridge is at the Whistler Train Wreck Trail, crossing the turquoise waters of the Cheakamus River.

There's a scene with one of the couples filmed at the Rockit Coffee Co., a cool retro-themed café at Creekside Village in Whistler.

In the third episode appears the Whistler Racket Club, offering tennis and pickleball courts and even axe throwing.
Pickleball must be in vogue, as there's also a pickleball match scene in the new season 7 of the Virgin River series, which premiered in the same week as Age of Attraction.

The scene pictured was also filmed at the Whistler Train Wreck Trail area, an easy, short round-trip hike south of Whistler Village, leading to seven graffiti-covered train boxcars.
In 1956, a Pacific Great Eastern freight train derailed near Whistler after speeding through a construction area with an overloaded lumber load.
Local loggers failed to remove the damaged cars, which were dragged up the tracks and rolled into the forest, where they remain today, now covered in graffiti art.

Age of Attraction in Vancouver

Back in Vancouver, flying into Harbour Flight Centre, the remaining contestants make a toast on the Vancouver Convention Centre's terrace.

The couples test their connection in the real world, staying at Level Vancouver Downtown-Howe, offering studio to three-bedroom furnished apartments with full kitchens.
With rates of about CA$2,800–$5,000 per month for 30+ nights (US$2,044–$3,650), amenities include a rooftop pool, hot tub, gym, sauna, and a great location.

In the fourth episode, one of the couples is at The Mighty Oak, a cozy café and specialty grocery in the Mount Pleasant/Riley Park area off Cambie Street.
