Set in the fictional town of Maybrook, Pennsylvania, Weapons was filmed in and around Atlanta, Georgia.
The movie follows Julia Garner as Justine, the teacher of 17 children from the same classroom who suddenly disappeared in a small Pennsylvania town.

The Weapons school
Brockett Elementary School in Tucker doubled as Maybrook Elementary School, located approximately 15 miles northeast of Atlanta.
In the July 2024 Google Maps image, you can see all the production trucks outside the center during filming.

The USA Liquors store, where Justine goes to restock on booze, was filmed at the USA Package Store in Conyers.

The scene with Justine driving Paul (played by Alden Ehrenreich) home was filmed behind Manuel's Tavern in Atlanta’s Poncey–Highland neighbourhood.

The Weapons house
Alex’s family house is located very close to the school in real life, in a quiet cul-de-sac at 4095 Brockett Creek Court, also in Tucker.
Built in 1975, this private four-bedroom home features high ceilings but, according to real estate sites, does not have a basement.

The Trueco gas station that appears in a few scenes was filmed at the BP service station on Pace Street in Covington.

Archer's house is located in Merry Hills, a neighborhood in DeKalb County, just northeast of Atlanta, near Tucker and Decatur.
This five-bedroom house, built in 2020, has an estimated market value of about one and a half million dollars, according to Zillow.

The Police Department is a building located in the Decatur-Lithonia area.
The Maybrook police cars display the name of the fictional McCarren County.

If you turn the camera 180 degrees, the scene where James (Austin Abrams) goes to the police station was filmed at a different location in East Point, with the First Mallalieu United Methodist Church visible in the background.

The sequence where Paul chases James was filmed in downtown Griffin, which boasts a rich collection of historic buildings that always look good on screen.
