Unbelievable (2019-present)
These short series is based on the real story of a woman who has survived rape but was accused by the police of a false report. Eventually, we learn that there have been a series of unsolved related cases of rape throughout the country. This is definitely not the show that is easy and fun to watch. It is hard to binge watch it and not feel super depressed afterward. Though it carries an important social message and we do recommend watching. The series is hard to forget and impossible not to think about even days after you finish them.

Grace and Frankie (2015-present)
This is a series about two elderly women who have to start their lives from a fresh start. Now, you probably think why students have to watch this. Well, because it is incredibly fun, entertaining, and educating. These ladies can share a lot of life advice that young people should listen to. We guarantee that this series will make you call your moms and grandmas right away.

Euphoria series scene
Euphoria (2019-present)
The series depicts the lives of a bunch of high schoolers with their struggles and issues, from an abusive relationship to discovering their own sexuality. Euphoria is one of those shows that can cause a lot of debate as almost all teenage dramas do. Though we're gonna stand out ground and argue that this is, by far, one of the best shows about teenagers that we have seen. It definitely should be on everyone's list of college TV series. Anyone who can appreciate good cinematography should also watch the series just to check out interesting shooting solutions, colors, and the visual effects used to portray the city where Euphoria is set. They are something!

Pose (2018-present)
Pose is bold, bright, and bold. Yes. Bold twice. It is a show about the transgender women community in the 80s and early 90s. The series depicts a number of social issues that this community had to face during those times, from AIDS to structural marginalization. Though the series is yet fun and optimistic with a lot of high fashion and good humor. We definitely recommend having a look at this unique project.

She's Gotta Have It (2018-present)
The show is about a struggling young female artist living in Brooklyn. Nora Darling is trying to navigate her way in life and find her voice as an artist. The series discusses a lot of topics and social issues; from struggles of being back in America to being a female in a patriarchal society and being in a polyamory relationship. Each episode is also a love poem to Brooklyn with cool soundtracks and visuals.

Orange is the New Black (2013-2019)
Orange is the new black that has just released its last season though it has already become the classics among TV series. That was probably the first TV series to show such a large variety of women on TV in all their diversity, uniqueness, struggles, and victories. OITNB definitely deserves to be among the best TV shows ever made.
