Where was Dead to Me Filmed? The House & ALL the Locations

Posted by

Set in the beautiful coastal city of Laguna Beach, the Netflix dark tragicomedy is back for the third season with a new crazy plot twist.

The show features spectacular houses and locations. Very little was actually shot in Laguna Beach - Dead to Me was primarily filmed in and around Los Angeles.

Dead to Me actress Judy and Jen

The storyline revolves around two women who become partners in crime when they meet in a widow's therapy group after they lost their companions.

The starring duo is composed of Linda Cardellini (Bloodline, Mad Men) as Judy Hale and Christina Applegate (Friends, Anchorman) as Jen Harding. James Marsden (Westworld, Mrs. America) completes the main cast, playing the twins Steve and Ben Wood.

Welcome to our spoiler-free guide to all the filming locations of Dead to Me. You’ll find the locations more or less in order of appearance, with the new season 3 updates below in the report.

The Widows Grief meeting shot at Pt. Fermin by the Korean Bell in San Pedro. It's noted for the covered picnic areas and wall cutout designs along the coast.

Thanks for the info, I would have lost a lot of money if I still gambled. I know I saw Dana Point in one season and a couple of others in “downtown” Laguna, but great article.
