The new Netflix movie Love Wedding Repeat is a British and Italian co-production filmed in a superb villa located in the outskirts of Rome.

The film is a romantic comedy between Sliding Doors, Four Weddings and a Funeral and last year hit Murder Mistery.

Actors Sam Claflin and Olivia Munn From the writer of Death At A Funeral movie with Peter Dinklage and Hit the Road TV series, Dean Craig, the plot revolves around weddings (obvious), sunshine, sedatives, and alternate versions of the same day.

Love Wedding Repeat Villa
The magnificent palace house where Love Wedding Repeat takes place is the Villa Parisi-Borghese, one of the twelve Tuscolane Villas.

This superb late-Renaissance palazzo is located between Frascati and Monte Porzio Catone in the Lazio region.

The walls of the central hall and the loggia are decorated with frescoes from the 18th century.

The Statues Gallery hosts ancient sculptures collected by Cardinal Borghese.


Garden scene with Dina
In the 'Theatre of the waters' two flights of curved stairs that seem straight out of an old film set, surround a fountain containing a hidden cave with a carved dragon, the coat of arms of the Borghese family.

The estate also features a secret garden to the east with a monumental octagonal fountain, connecting Villa Parisi with the park behind.

The palace house
Villa Parisi is located 21 km only from central Rome and the Studios of Cinecitta.

The property is only open to the public for tours with a minimum of 20 people and can be rented out for weddings and events.

Also, many films have been shot here, including lots of Italian terror Z movies like '74 Blood for Dracula or Burial Ground: The Nights of Terror, but also Ridley Scott's The Vatican, Vittorio de Sica's The Garden of the Finzi-Continis, and '87 Brown eyes starring Marcello Mastroianni and Silvana Mangano.

Italian Renaissance Estate
The Tuscolane Villas are a group of twelve splendid Renaissance country houses, mostly well preserved to this day, built by families linked to the papal nobility between the middle 16th and the beginning of the 17th century.

They are located between Frascati, Monteporzio Catone, and Grottaferrata, on the slopes of the Alban and the Tuscolo hill, around the old Roman city of Tusculum. Pictured, Villa Aldobrandini, located also in Frascati.

The film stars Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games, Peaky Blinders), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse, Six), Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark, The White Queen), Joel Fry (Game of Thrones), and Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire, Rise of the Planet of the Apes).
