The 3 1/2 hours long movie The Irishman by Martin Scorsese (the director behind classics like Taxi Driver and Goodfellas), is an adaptation of Charles Brandt's book I Heard You Paint Houses: Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran and Closing the Case on Jimmy Hoffa.

The film tells the story (spanning more than 50 years, from 1949 through 2000) of hit man Frank Sheeran (Robert De Niro), who claims to have been involved in the 1975 disappearance of Teamsters labor union chief Jimmy Hoffa (Al Pacino), one of America's most powerful men. The movie contains a pantheon of celebrities including Joe Pesci (Russell Bufalino), Harvey Keitel (Angelo Bruno), Ray Romano (Bill Bufalino), Bobby Cannevale (Felix "Skinny Razor" DiTullio) and Anna Paquin as Peggy Sheeran.

The production does not fall short of filming locations: filmmakers claim that 117 different locations were used to shoot 309 scenes. Set in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and Florida, The Irishman was basically filmed in and around New York. We will update and complete this report with all the shooting locations very soon:
