The Two Weeks in August island
The first episode opens with several scenic establishing shots of the island, including this one filmed at Imġiebaħ Beach, a secluded and unspoiled beach on the northern coast of Malta.
The area is known for its dark sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and peaceful atmosphere.
The next shot is from the rugged limestone coastline and terraced dry-stone fields of Wied il-Mielah, near Għar tal-Qrewis, a natural sea cave on the island of Gozo.
This is in the same part of the island where the famous Azure Window in Dwejra Bay, a natural limestone arch, stood until it collapsed in 2017.

Two Weeks in August villa
According to CN Traveller, Villa Paradeisos was filmed using a few different locations, including a set built near the cliffs of southern Malta, so you won’t be able to book it on Airbnb for your next hideaway.
The small harbour and fish market were filmed at Mġarr ix-Xini, a narrow bay located near the village of Sannat on the island of Gozo.
Far from the main tourist spots, this beautiful location is known for its calm turquoise waters and peaceful, relatively undeveloped setting.
