Where was Spider-Noir filmed? The hotel, the house, and all the locations

Set in a gritty 1930s Depression-era New York, Spider-Noir was almost entirely filmed in Los Angeles.

This dark alternate-universe version of Spider-Man stars Nicolas Cage as PI Ben Reilly, alongside nightclub singer Li Jun Li as Cat and Lamorne Morris as freelance journalist Robbie.

You can watch the series in two visual formats: one in stylized black-and-white to evoke classic film noir, and another in full color as originally shot.

Spider Noir location
Many scenes were filmed on the exterior sets of the Warner Bros. Studios backlot in Burbank.

This includes the main New York street in the series, where Millie’s Diner is located.

Spider Noir house
The B. Reilly Private Investigator building is also located on one side of the street.

You may have seen this location many times, as it has been used in multiple films, including Jim Carrey’s apartment in The Mask and the scene where the police arrest Tom Cruise in Minority Report.


Spider Noir bar
One of the first real locations in the series is The Prince in Los Angeles’ Koreatown, a long-running restaurant and lounge known for its old-school, cinematic interior and late-night scene.

This location is also famous for appearing in film and TV, including Mad Men and New Girl.

Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Koreatown
In the first episode, "Step Into My Office," Ben is reading the news on the staircase of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Koreatown.

Redcliff Hotel
Located across the street, the fictional Redcliff Hotel is actually The Talmadge, a brick apartment tower opened in 1924.

Spider Noir Alcove Club
The Alcove Club exterior is the Ninth and Broadway Building, a historic 13-story Art Deco built in 1929 with a terra cotta facade and a dramatic two-story arched entrance.

In the shot, we can see the Orpheum Theatre on the left, also located at the Broadway Theater District of the Historic Core in Los Angeles.

The Geoffrey Hotel
The Geoffrey Hotel in the second episode, "Tread Lightly", is the Hotel Per La, a luxury hotel in Downtown.

This Marriott Autograph Collection hotel is housed in the historic 12-story Bank of Italy (Giannini) Building, built in 1922.

Including a rooftop pool and bar, average nightly rates are roughly $250–$350 USD for a standard room.

Variety Arts Theater
The interior is the Variety Arts Theater in Downtown, originally built as the Friday Morning Club clubhouse in 1924.

This historic-cultural monument has a 1,100-seat proscenium-arch auditorium, notable for hosting early 20th-century performers like Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy.

The venue reopened briefly in 2026 for a video art exhibition after decades of being closed.

The Hillhurts Hotel

Hillhurts Hotel
A non-CGI facade of the fictional Hillhurts Hotel, Silvermane's lair, doesn't appear until the third episode, "Double Cross".

This is the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, a 1923 landmark also in Downtown, built in Beaux-Arts style.

Once the largest hotel west of Chicago and site where the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences—and the Oscars—were born, rooms typically start around $205–$238.

Dutch Chocolate Shop LA
The train platform at the disappeared monumental New York Penn Station was filmed at the Dutch Chocolate Shop with its ornate groin-vaulted arches built in 1914.

The place became a hidden architectural cult favorite because, for decades, it was covered up behind cheap storefront partitions before being rediscovered in 2012.

The Wolves bar Los Angeles
The bar in the fourth episode, "A Mistake I'll Never Make Again", is The Wolves, a lavish Parisian salon–style cocktail bar inside the historic Alexandria Hotel.

Famous for its stained-glass arches, Belle Époque interiors, and salvaged antiques, the ceiling reportedly comes from an old train station dining hall.

Cicada Restaurant and Lounge
The scene with the NY Mayor was filmed at the Cicada Restaurant and Lounge, known for its glamorous Art Deco style, featuring 30-foot gold-leaf ceilings.

The restaurant has been featured in several movies, including Pretty Woman and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
