Set in the fictional town of Chimney Rock in upstate New York, Wake Up Dead Man was primarily filmed in and around London.
This is the third installment of the A Knives Out whodunit movie franchise, a series of murder‑mystery films centred on the detective Benoit Blanc, played by former 007 Daniel Craig.

Wake Up Dead Man locations
The scene where Rev. Jud Duplenticy (played by Josh O'Connor) is being interviewed was filmed at the Harrow Club sports hall in West London, a long‑established community youth organisation founded in 1883.
And guess what? Rickroll alert: this is the same location where parts of the iconic Rick Astley music video “Never Gonna Give You Up” were filmed!

However, the exterior was filmed at the St John Priory Church Cloister Garden in Clerkenwell.
The historic church of the medieval Priory of the Knights Hospitaller, with origins in the 12th century, was largely reconstructed after World War II damage.

Chimney Rock, New York
The aerial view of Chimney Rock is from Cold Spring, a scenic village on the eastern bank of the Hudson River, about 50 miles north of New York City.
Established in the late 18th century, Cold Spring boasts a well-preserved Main Street lined with antique shops, cafés, and galleries.

The Wake Up Dead Man church
The exterior of Our Lady of Perpetual Fortitude was filmed at the Church of the Holy Innocents in High Beach, Essex.
Located about 20 miles northeast of central London, this church, surrounded by forest, was built in 1873 in the Victorian Gothic Revival style.

However, to the trained eye, the church’s interior is clearly a set, built on a soundstage at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, England.

The Wake Up Dead Man house
As Condé Nast Traveller confirmed, the mausoleum and the house on the church grounds were sets built in Winterfold Forest in Surrey.
The scenes in the woodland around the church were also filmed in this area, part of the Greensand Ridge.

Vera's Draven & Draven Attorneys at Law notary house was filmed at the old Shere Bed & Breakfast in Shere, a village in the Guildford district of Surrey, located about 30 miles southwest of central London.

Chimney Rock's local pub, Il Diavolo (The Devil), was filmed at the studios, but its exterior was taken from Cold Spring Pizza, located at 120 Main Street.
At one point, an establishing shot of Cold Spring's Main Street is also featured.
