Where was Happy Gilmore 2 filmed? The Golf Course and all the locations in New Jersey

Although the new Adam Sandler movie is partially set in Waterbury, Connecticut, Happy Gilmore 2 was filmed entirely in New Jersey.
Featuring an all-star cameo lineup, the movie was released nearly 30 years after the original, which was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Happy Gilmore house
At the beginning of the movie, there are a few flashback scenes featuring footage from the original 1996 film.
The striking Queen Anne–style house that served as Grandma's home in Waterbury is an eight-bedroom residence built in 1912, filmed on Vancouver’s West Side.

The house that Happy hits a golf ball into is also featured in Happy Gilmore 2.
While it appears to be a nearby neighbor’s home, it was actually filmed several blocks away in the same Vancouver neighborhood.
This house no longer exists, as it was demolished around 2010 to make room for a new one.

The Happy Gilmore 2 Golf Course
The golf course where Gilmore wins the 98th U.S. Open is a new location: Beacon Hill Country Club, set in the hills above the waterfront town of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.
This century-old, exclusive golf venue features an 18-hole, par-71 course.

A picturesque tower was added via CGI to the main lodge at Alpine Country Club in Demarest.
This prestigious, full-service private club sits on approximately 196 acres in northern Bergen County.

The Happy Gilmore 2 locations
As the cast and crew didn’t return to Vancouver to film the new Grandma Gilmore’s house scenes, the exterior was shot on Hamilton Road in South Orange Village, New Jersey.

The liquor shop scene was filmed at Riverview Liquors in Bogota.

The Gilmore family’s new home is a modest two-bedroom house on Welland Avenue, near Irvington Park in Irvington.

The court scene was filmed at Verona Town Hall, a municipal complex built in 1924 in the Georgian Revival style.

The Wesford State Mental Hospital was filmed at the former Essex County Hospital Center in Belleville, just north of Newark.
Built in 1929 and closed in 2007, this towering building, featured in the 2001 movie A Beautiful Mind, is now being converted into condominiums.

The scene pictured was filmed at the Golf Driving Range in Closter.
The facility offers 120 heated, all-weather hitting stalls across two levels, allowing golfers to practice year-round.

The Tour Champions Diner was held at Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, a historic 1933 estate renowned for its French Normandy architecture and lush 40-acre grounds.

The sun is shining and the greens are shimmering at the 2025 U.S. Bank Tour Championship and the Maxi Golf League golf courses, both filmed at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Bedminster.
Established in 1965, this premier private club boasts a sprawling 1,200-acre estate with three full 18-hole championship courses, totaling 54 holes.

Big Charley's Mini Golf is actually the Farmview Golf Center, a family-owned 18-hole miniature golf course located on a 160-acre farm in Hackettstown.
