In Atlas of Wonders, we’re the first to bring you this scoop, along with the detailed filming locations of Love Island, including the hotels and beaches where the show takes place.

The Love Island villa

Love Island Airbnb
The Season Seven narrator’s voice introduces the house as Fiji’s most expensive Airbnb.

However, at least for now, you can’t book the property on Airbnb, or anywhere else, as the showrunners built an entirely new villa north of the town of Viseisei, on the west coast of Viti Levu, Fiji’s main island.

Love Island house
The producers took over the old Anchorage Beach Resort’s swimming pool and dock area, transforming it into the Islanders’ home.

Although the hotel still appears on some booking websites, the resort is currently closed for renovations.

Season 7 villa
This season, the villa comes equipped with a new speakeasy, a sauna, and even a photo booth for all those steamy selfies.

The set has around 85 hidden cameras—yep, they’re watching everything the Islanders do (and don’t do).

Where was Love Island filmed?

Where was Love Island filmed
According to most media outlets across the internet—big and small, legit or copycat—the show was filmed in the Mamanuca Islands... which is partly true.

The beach where the contestants are dancing was actually filmed on tiny, uninhabited Yadua Island, which was even up for sale a few years ago.

Love Island Fiji
This establishing shot was filmed on Navadra Island, an uninhabited volcanic isle tucked away in the northern part of Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands.

Like the famous Cast Away island, Yadua and Navadra belong to the Mamanuca Island Group, a region known for its stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters, frequent stops on some of Fiji’s most popular tours.

Kuata Island
Another establishing shot was filmed on Kuata Island, part of the Yasawa Islands.

This small island is home to Barefoot Kuata Island Resort, a rustic beachfront retreat located about 25 miles northwest of Fiji’s main island.

Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort
Huda's entrance dance was filmed at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort on Wailoaloa Beach, about 12 miles from the Love Island villa.

You can stay at this luxurious five-star beachfront resort starting at around $400 per night.

The shot with Nic on a bicycle was filmed at Cardo's Steakhouse and Cocktail Bar, a popular waterfront restaurant located in Port Denarau near Nadi, also on Fiji's main island.
