Fit for a Prince was entirely filmed on location in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada). Featuring an impressive manor house set in one of the top hotels in the city, this Hallmark Channel movie is part of the Love Ever After series of romantic films.

The story of Cinderella is the inspiration for this modern fairy tale starring Natalie Hall (“You’re Bacon Me Crazy,” “A Winter Princess”). She plays a high fashion designer, hired to dress ladies of the wealthy Hamilton family, which are hosting a charity ball for the elite. Cindy's life takes an unexpected turn when Prince Ronan, played by Jonathan Keltz (“Cardinal,” “Reign”) comes to town to attend the gala.

Welcome to the completely spoiler-free royal filming locations of Fit for a Prince:

The flag on top of the royal residence used in the trailer has the English Heritage logo, the British charity that manages over 400 historic monuments, buildings, and places all across England. The countryside mansion exterior was just used as the establishing shot. The aerial views of the estate could be any of the aristocratic countryside manors that you can find all over the United Kingdom.

The interior of the stately home was filmed at the Fairmont Ch√Ęteau Laurier in downtown Ottawa, very close to Parliament Hill and all the Capitol's landmarks. This is the same location used in the 2020 Christmas Hallmark movie A Christmas Carousel.
