The CBS legal drama television series All Rise has already been renewed for a second season. The show opens a window to the world of a Los Angeles courthouse where judges, prosecutors and public defenders make their way through stressful minefields.

The cast is lead by Simone Missick (Luke Cage, Iron Fist) as the new judge Lola Carmichael and Wilson Bethel (Daredevil, How to Get Away with Murder), plays her best friend and deputy district attorney Mark Callan.

All Rise was entirely filmed in the city of Los Angeles. Here is our spoiler-free report including the most relevant filming locations of the series:

All Rise city
The series revolves around the historical Hall of Justice building in Downtown Los Angeles. This huge cube from 1929 features granite columns and classical detailing matching facades on all four sides.

Some interiors were also filmed here. As the Los Angeles Conservancy website states, The Hall of Justice is the oldest surviving government building in the LA Civic Center. The structure had been shuttered since the devastating 1994 Northridge earthquake. After some years awaiting its turn, it went into a detailed restoration and re-opened in 2015.
