Inhumans follows the story of the power struggles between members of the alien Royal Family. Before the production was on TV, the first two episodes premiered in IMAX theaters on September 1st.

The cast is headed by Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon -once more playing the bad guy- as Maximus, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, and Ken Leung as Karnak.

Inhumans was filmed in Hawaii, in the islands of Oahu and Kauai. Here is a compilation of the most relevant filming locations of the Marvel series:

Where is Inhumans filmed
Inhumans was filmed on location in Honolulu. The scene pictured was filmed at Bishop Street, although they may have copy-pasted some elements to enhance the composition.

An action scene was filmed at Merchant Street, also in Downtown Honolulu.

Most of the series was filmed in a new studio containing the sets for the production. The space is located at the former Naval Air Station Barbers Point in West Oahu, Kalaeloa.

Scenes in Kualoa Ranch
Some exterior shots were done at Kualoa Ranch, a very popular filming destination (from Jurassic Park to Jumanji 2 (you can check out our article Where was Jumanji filmed? here)).

The volcano crater
The volcanic cone Diamond Head and the old military tunnels of Battery Harlow were also used for filming.

The beach pictured on the slopes of the crater was used as The Wrong Missy location, the 2020 Netflix movie set on the island.
