The Night Manager house in Season One

In the first season, arms dealer Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie) lived in a mega-mansion filmed at the spectacular Sa Fortalesa de Pollença estate in Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands.
Originally built in 1628 as a fortress to defend against Moorish raids, it was acquired in 1919 by an Argentine artist, who transformed it into a gathering place for leading avant-garde painters of the time.
Today, it is owned by a British banker who purchased the property in 2011 for €40 million and occasionally rents it out as a filming location.
