Angel's Ridge

Angel's Ridge was filmed at CL Ranch, which includes the CL Western Town set, located roughly 35–40 minutes by car from downtown Calgary.
The tall Rocky Mountains in the background, along with many of the storefronts, were CGI’d into the scene.

The ranch includes a variety of landscapes, including traditional Indigenous encampment sets, as well as several period-appropriate interior sets.
It is one of Alberta’s most widely used locations for Westerns and other period productions, having appeared in Fargo, Black Summer, and Tin Star.
The Abandons locations

The Abandons ranch in the Hollow (or ‘Jasper Hollow’), home to a found family of orphans and outcasts, was filmed in the Nakoda Lakeside Lodge area.
This land, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes along the Bow River, is part of a First Nation reserve.

As local press first reported, the Van Ness ranch was filmed at the Stoney Park Campgrounds, located in the western portion of the Mînî Thnî reserve area.
The house appears to be a CGI creation, although a section of the exterior porch was a real set.

The horse chase scene in the third episode, "Triage", was filmed in the area of the Drumheller Badlands and Horsethief Canyon.
This is one of the most iconic landscapes in Alberta, with striking layers of colorful, banded slopes shaped by the erosion of ancient rivers.
