The fourth installment in Disney Channel’s musical fantasy series, Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, was filmed on New Zealand’s North Island, rather than in Toronto like the previous films.
Returning stars Milo Manheim (Zed) and Meg Donnelly (Addison) face a summer camp showdown between Daywalkers and Vampires, while preparing to pass the torch to new leads Nova and Victor.

The Zombies 4 School
King's College in Ōtāhuhu, a suburb of Auckland, doubles as Mountain College.
Founded in 1896, the school’s older buildings showcase beautiful neo-Gothic architecture.
This dancing scene was also filmed at the college’s striking, modern Centennial Centre, a state-of-the-art education hub opened in 2018.

The beach with the city CGI’d in the background was filmed at Bethells Beach, about 40 minutes west of Auckland.
The sand dunes adjacent to the ocean are also found here, within the Waitākere Ranges Regional Park.

At the southern tip of Bethells Beach lies the Te Henga cave.
This sea cave only opens at low tide, revealing a 30–40 m deep passage flooded with natural light, making it a popular photo spot.

The Sunnyside city scenes were filmed at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) campus.
The glass façade of the Sir Paul Reeves Building, digitally enhanced, provided a vibrant backdrop for this colorful location.

Although the image includes many visual effects, the waterfall is the Okiritoto Falls located at the southern end of Woodhill Forest on the grounds of Oneonenui Farm, a scenic area less than an hour from Auckland.
This coastal sheep and beef farm was also used as a filming location for the 1990s series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess.
