Azalea Retreat Lake Norman
The small cabin was filmed at the Azalea Retreat lodge, a luxurious three-story lakeside estate on Lake Norman in Sherrills Ford.

With 11 bedrooms, a private dock, and space for up to 34 guests (along with their respective guns) this upscale log cabin typically rents for around $1,500 per night.

Where was The Hunting Wives filmed?

Kirk County
The establishing shots of the car driving up and down the roads of Kirk County were also filmed around Lake Norman.

Created in the 1960s as a cooling reservoir for the Cowans Ford Nuclear Power Plant, the lake is now a popular destination for boating and fishing.

Coyote Joes
Coyote Joe's is a real nightclub in Charlotte. Since opening in 1991, it has become a premier country music venue, hosting major artists like Garth Brooks, Travis Tritt, and Charlie Daniels.

In the story, based on the novel by May Cobb, Maple Brook is set in the fictional Kirk County, Texas.

The Park Church in Charlotte served as Holy Horizon Church.

Founded in 1913 as Gilfield Missionary Baptist Church, the congregation's current sanctuary opened in 2001 and seats 2,500 people.

What-A-Burger is a retro drive-in restaurant that opened in the 1960s in Mooresville.

Mooresville is a hub for NASCAR and motorsports, with over 60 racing teams and high-tech shops clustered around Lake Norman.
