The Echo Valley farm, also known as Plum Broke Farm, is a historic country estate located just outside the town of Stockton, New Jersey.

Kate, played by Julianne Moore, lives in a Victorian house with a covered porch, originally built in 1880.

Plum Broke Farm
The barn, also featured in the movie, includes a cobblestone courtyard, seven-stall horse stables, and hay storage above.

This 97-acre estate boasts picturesque pastures, wooded trails, a spring-fed pond, and a section of flower gardens.

According to real estate websites, the property was last sold in 2023 for over three million dollars.


York Street House Lambertville
Kate's ex-husband, Richard (played by Kyle MacLachlan), lives in the York Street House, a bed and breakfast located in Lambertville, NJ.

Considered one of the finest homes in the state, the mansion was built in 1909 by industrialist George Massey as a twenty-fifth wedding anniversary gift for his wife.

Marsh Creek Lake is a real man-made lake in Pennsylvania, popular for boating and fishing, though swimming is not permitted.

However, as reported by the local press, the lake scenes were actually filmed at Mount Hope Pond, a small 18-acre reservoir surrounded by a scenic loop trail in Rockaway Township, New Jersey.

The diner scene was filmed at the family-owned Amwell Valley Diner Restaurant at 400 Route 31 North in Ringoes.
