Like any Hallmarkie, the storyline follows the formula: guy with a "big city job" travels to a picturesque place. After meeting a local lovely lady, he learns to slow down. While working together, the chemistry between them sparks.
But, will William (played by Joshua Sasse) leave his promising career for love with Dana (Delta Goodrem)?

The real Fullerton, Australia, location
Fullerton Airways is based at a picturesque airport, filmed at the Whitsunday Airport (Shute Harbour), near Airlie Beach.
Located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, it serves as the main gateway to the picturesque region, home to 74 magnificent islands.
The Whitsunday Airport is actually privately owned by a family that also owns a couple of helicopters, but no Cessna 206 hydroplane named Harriet.
Nestled in a small valley, the airport also has a new, modern hangar and a residential area with homes for small aircraft owners.
The local hangout is The Hangar Cafe and Bar, located within the same airport, just meters from the runway.

As Dana flies over Fullerton, an establishing shot of Shute Harbor appears, surrounded by the dazzling turquoise waters of the Coral Sea.
This port facility is a key starting point for exploring the jaw-dropping archipelago of the Whitsunday Islands.

Airlie Beach doubled as the fictional town of Fullerton, in the scene where Dana drives William through the "scenic" road.
This vibrant but small coastal town, renowned for its lively atmosphere, is the perfect base for an adventure sailing, diving, or flying over this gorgeous tropical paradise.

It's not clear which of the 74 islands served as Packers Bay, or the beach where the couple almost gets stranded, "a little northwest of Cape Flattery, not far from Lizard Island".
However, on their way to Packers Bay, there is a quick snippet of the Langford Island (pictured), featuring a picturesque sandbar.
Surrounded by coral reefs and fringed with powdery white sand, the beach emerges during low tide, creating an idyllic spot for snorkeling and sunbathing.

There is also a scene just before the storm where the filmmakers almost show the iconic Whitehaven Beach.
Often hailed as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Whitehaven is famous for the mesmerizing swirling patterns in the sand and water created by the tides, which visitors can see from the Hill Inlet lookout.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here is Whitsunday Island in a screenshot from the movie's closing credits.
Unlike conventional sand, Whitehaven Beach's crystal-white silica sand stays cool underfoot, allowing for comfortable barefoot walks even on the hottest days.
The storm scene may have been inspired by Cyclone Debbie, which caused extensive damage to the region in 2017.
Also, the 2017 movie Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Men Tell No Tales was filmed in this wondrous location, full of beauty everywhere I look around.
