Where is Stumptown filmed? Filming locations of the TV series set in Portland

Posted by

The 2019 ABC TV series Stumptown is inspired by the graphic novels written by Greg Rucka.

Cobie Smulders (best known for Robin Scherbatsky in How I Met Your Mother and her role as Maria Hill in Avengers movies) plays Dex Parios, a former military intelligence officer who works as a private investigator.

The series is set and was partially filmed in Portland, Oregon. Stumptown is actually a nickname for Portland, but the filmmakers shot part of the pilot in Vancouver and then decided to move the production to Los Angeles.

We hope that the show will capture the essence of the Rose City portrayed in the comic books. Then, where is Stumptown really filmed?

  1. One key for knowing that the show is not filmed in Oregon is that in Oregon drivers cannot dispense fuel for themselves, gas stations have gas attendants to do this.

  2. Please bring this show back. Cobie Smolders is hotter than Georgia asphalt in July.
