Where was Spider-Man Homecoming filmed? The House & Filming Locations

The 2017 installement of the adventures of a young Peter Parker rebooted the Spider-Man franchise, after the last 2014 movie starring Andrew Garfield.

The film continues the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline after Captain America: Civil War, expanding the story of the Avengers.

Spiderman Homecoming Location

In the new Marvel films, the sticky superhero is played by Tom Holland (The Impossible, The Lost City of Z). Robert Downey Jr. returns to his role as Tony -Iron Man- Stark, and Michael Keaton is the evil Vulture.

Spider-Man Homecoming is set in New York, but it was primarily filmed in Atlanta. The production also filmed some exterior shots in New York and Washington.

Filming in Queens
Peter lives in Queens, next to the Subway viaduct above Queens Boulevard, which appears several times during the film.

The Spider-Man House

SpiderMan House
His apartment's exterior is very close to this location, situated at 43-25 43rd Street in Sunnyside.

We can say that Tom Holland's house in The Devil All the Time in Ohio is quite far from home.

Midtown School of Science and Technology
The Franklin K. Lane High School in Brooklyn doubled for the Midtown School of Science and Technology.

Several The politician filming locations were also set in this popular neighborhood.

SpiderMan High School
However, the interior scenes of Parker's High School were recorded at Midtown High School, formerly known as Henry W. Grady High School in Atlanta.

Spider-Man Homecoming was headquartered at Pinewood Atlanta Studios.

The studio preferred to film as much as possible in Atlanta, where costs are much lower.

Delmar's Deli-Grocery
The Delmar's Deli-Grocery exterior was filmed at 92 Peachtree Street SW in South Downtown, Atlanta.

Like in the movie, the Queens Community Bank is located on a corner across the street.

Astoria set location
The next scene, when Parker goes to the alley to get changed, was filmed at the junction at 31st Street and 23rd Avenue in Astoria.

However, the interior of the alley, as MCU Location Scout revealed, was filmed at 79 Poplar Street NW back in Atlanta.

Street scene Rainbow shop Atlanta
The stolen bicycle scene was filmed at Peachtree Street SW, in downtown Atlanta.

Prachya Thai
The Prachya Thai restaurant where Peter has dinner with his mom is located at 233 in Mitchell Street SW, Atlanta.

Liz Allen's house is located at 229 Little John Trail NE in Sherwood Forest, Atlanta.

Piedmont Park Bridge Atlanta
The scene under the bridge with Aaron (played by Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino) looking to purchase weapons from Toomes' acolytes is the Park Drive Bridge at Piedmont Park in Atlanta.

The Hindu Temple of Atlanta appears briefly in the scene with Tony Stark calling Parker.

Spider-Man hotel
The United States Academic Decathlon Hotel in Washington D.C. is the Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Center.

According to Movie Maps, the Damage Control Warehouse is the Georgia World Congress Center.

Spider-Man Homecoming Drehort
The establishing shots for the scene at the Washington Monument were recorded on location, although all the close-up shots were filmed at the studio.

Homecoming Boat scene
The Staten Island Ferry sequence was also filmed on location at St George Terminal, in New York.

The white hexagonal tower where Peter talks to Iron Man in the aftermath of the boat scene is the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel Ventilation Building on Governors Island.

The amusement park of the Cyclone Roller is Luna Park in Coney Island.

Avengers Headquarters
The exterior of the new Avengers Headquarters is the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta.

The complex consists of a museum, restaurants, and a drive track where you can drive some of the powerful machines of the German brand for a fee.

Vulture flying in the modern Hotel hall
In the teaser trailer, there was a shot of the Vulture inside the spectacular atrium at Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel.

The famous atrium of this iconic 52-story hotel in Atlanta was also featured in the Starz production Heels and the Marvel series Loki.
